Student Residence Apartments
• The apartments vary in size providing 6 and 4 bedrooms en-suite units
• Students share a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area in each apartment. All bedrooms offer quality study space and en-suite shower and toilet.
• A number of apartments are designed to accommodate students with impaired mobility.

Cappavilla Village, University of Limerick

Cappavilla Village 

Cappavilla Village is UL’s new apartment style residence located on the North Campus which opened in September 2006. It is situated adjacent to the Health Sciences building and is ideal for nursing and health therapies students.
Built on the highest point of the campus, the views of the surrounding counties and the river Shannon are superb.
Offering 2/4/6 bedroom apartments all en-suite, the village has its own laundry and games rooms.





Thormond Village, University of Limerick

Thomond Village

Thomond Village is a landmark building and marks the start of the development of the North Bank Campus which is linked to the existing campus by a new River Shannon crossing.












Dromroe Village, University of Limerick

Dromroe Village

Dromroe Village is an attractive apartment style complex, bordering the Mill stream and overlooking the Shannon River. It offers apartments to sleep 6, with large bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities.
It is ideal for senior students who want more space and a serious study environment; first years can live there too. All villages have a mix of students in the community, first year, seniors, international students and postgraduate students.





Kilmurry Village, University of Limerick

Kilmurry Village

Kilmurry Village is a complex of terraced houses in landscaped grounds, close to the Sports Arena and all the sports facilities. A great place if you want to be on the track or in the pool before breakfast. Tennis courts and playing fields are all close by. Plassey Village, University of Limerick

Plassey Village

Plassey Village - a great place to make friends especially in first year as the houses mainly sleep 8 people. There are also 4 bedroom houses, ideal for postgraduate and senior students. Terraced houses are grouped around landscaped courtyards which help to create a cozy communal atmosphere. Shops are located very close to the village and a regular bus service to town operates every 20 minutes from a stop directly opposite the village.



Excursions and Cultural Activities

The 70 clubs and societies run by UL's Students Union offer international students many opportunities to meet other students and participate in cultural and sporting events.
